Earlier this week, at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) World Conference in New Orleans, Ingenium was honoured to receive the International Award of Excellence in Change Communications, in recognition for our work with the Facilities team of the University of Ottawa.

Ingenium was also recognized with the Best of the Best Award, an accolade bestowed by the IABC’s Blue Ribbon Panel of judges acknowledging the most exceptional work from across all award categories globally. The awards are based on achieving outstanding measurable business outcomes through a change communications program.

Ingenium partnered with Facilities in providing change communications support to a major business transformation initiative at the University that included an extensive employee engagement campaign entitled “We Power Ideas”. The transformation project delivered over $2.3 million in increased productivity, and was spearheaded by Facilities’ passionate and visionary Executive Director, Claudio Brun del Re.

Untitled“I was very proud to stand at Caroline’s side in receiving not only IABC’s Gold Quill award, but also its Best of the Best. Sharing this honour with Ingenium reminded me of how our success was founded on our close partnership and unwavering focus on the expected outcomes. Ingenium’s unique expertise, creativity and profound respect for our organization acting in convergence with our internal knowledge and determination, produced this most excellent result”, said Brun del Re at Monday’s Awards Gala.

Untitled1The project was a textbook illustration of the power of effective sponsorship, fuelled by a deep commitment to communication and collaboration. It has been our honour and privilege to support this extraordinary change leadership success, and we are sincerely delighted to share these prestigious achievements with the entire Facilities team.
